Late Period That Stopped and Started Again

hey,
Im just wondering whats going on actually ...I only did the human action one time this month- terminal friday. And my period was due to first yesterday- which it did- and then promptly stopped once again, now its gone. Ive never had this before- the start day of menstruation is always heavy. What's going on?? is this normal?

Howdy Hannah,
Information technology could have been implantation bleeding you were experiencing, if it is you might need to wait a few days to practice a pregnancy test because I don't call back the hormones start to surge until that egg is well and truly implanted.
I had a like experience with my first pregnancy, mine lasted a couple of days and was much lighter than my usual period, at first i simply thanked my lucky stars for an piece of cake month and so a week later started to go some pregnancy symptoms and tested positive.
I am 13 wks preg now and this time we only did the deed twice in the calendar month we conceived I was equally as doubtful but here I am, so the fact you did information technology in one case means nothing, it is withal possible.

Thank you for your respond, aye it really does sound like it could be implantation bleeding. It really didnt feel similar a period atall- it was very light, hardly anything really. So i will take your advice and test in a couple of days and come across whats up...I will let you know!

I couldnt resist doing a examination today just in case..but it was negative. How long is the implatation bleeding (if that's what it is) likely to go along for?
Im thinking, it would take a while for a positive result to testify, (even though im past my period due date) considering i simply did the deed 8 days ago..is that true?
Anyway, I recall having several negatives when i was pregnant with my son, didnt get a positive till period was a proficient 2 weeks late. im just being impatient!!

Hi Hannah,
Are yous saying that you DTD in one case this month - final week - and your menses was due the following Thursday i.e. half dozen days later? It will really depend on your cycle whether you lot could be pregnant. How long is it unremarkably? Do you lot know when you lot ovulated? Normally you ovulate 14 days before your flow is due so for you to exist pregnant normally you would have to DTD effectually that time..

Yes that's what i mean, nosotros did it last friday, and my menses was due vi days later. (iii days agone.) Then we did it quite late in my cycle. I seriously didnt think i would become pregnant because it was and so belatedly in the calendar month, but so, this weird tiny bit of bleeding thing has happened, and stopped again, then now that's thrown me a bit.
I am actually kind of hoping i am pregnant, although we hadnt exactly 100% planned on information technology- i would be happy about information technology- and im getting quite attached to the idea...

Hannah I am yet rooting for you,
I know its not the norm to ovulate a little after than the usual mid cycle merely information technology definitely worked for me. i also know of someone who is going through fertility treatment and they have institute her to ovulate merely a couple of days before her period comes. Nosotros are all different and anything is possible. Its a shame nosotros can't all be like it says in the text books, information technology would make our lives much less stressful. I didn't mention that information technology took us 18 months to excogitate this time so I really practice know what you lot are going through, calendar month after calendar month you alive in hope, you will get at that place and I am actually hoping it is this month for you.
I am not certain exactly how soon a positive would show up after the implantation bleeding and then i am going to Google information technology in a minute.

I accept just done a search for when to test later imp bleeding and the recommended amount of time is most a week from when period is due, although the HCG should be building up now if yous are preg the boilerplate preg exam will evidence pos in nearly a week though.
I know it is difficult to wait xx

I am having a similar situation trying for baby number 2. My menses came on 3 days late, I only bled for ii days and so stopped then information technology seemed to start again a mean solar day later for a few hours, then zilch over again for another days and half and so a bleed over again this forenoon. Only very slight period pain??? Confused.

This is happening to me quite regularly at the moment. Bleed very lightly, seems to terminate, bleed lightly again then stop, and so back again. And so far though I have found that a week subsequently it starts on and off like that I cease up with a super heavy bleed which lasts iv or 5 days. All tests BFN for me. Spoke to medico who said it sounds like hormone imbalance and to give it a couple of more than cycles to come across if information technology settles downwardly then become back if not. Am going through a very light bleed myself correct at present, merely am expecting the full inundation just similar my concluding ii cycles to eventually come on.

Hello im the same i had,menstruum 16th of baronial to the 21st then ovulated on the 14th of september a week afterward i got bleeding started light pinkish/chocolate-brown then got heavier brigh carmine that lasted half-dozen days now it stopped yesturday from lunch time and so started again afterwards i came back from,swimmers my flow starts tomorrow had a urine sample and bloods.washed got a.neg urine.sample simply i kno bloods r better dont no if ive been testes to early or not ive all the.symptoms of pregnancy...

I came on my period a week early for vi day it seemed like a normal 1 for me on the starting time day I had back pain like I normally do during my period so I had no pains. I came off for three days and now I'm haemorrhage again but not getting any cramps or dorsum hurting. Why is this? I'm worried
